Ready to deepen connections with the children in your care?

The Foundations Series

Know before you grow: build s strong foundation with connection and curiosity.
1. Foundations: Making Connections
2. Foundations: Sparking Curiosity
3. Foundations: Solving Problems

1. Foundations: Making Connections

For children to learn how to care for the world, they have to learn what it means to be cared for, what it means to care, and how to care for something outside themselves. This is done by adults caring for children, actively and intentionally. In this session, viewers will gain new ideas for connecting with children and see the neuroscience that guides these ideas.

2. Foundations: Sparking Curiosity

Reflect on their ability to slow down to notice the world around them, to ask thought-provoking questions and to draw children’s attention to similar examples to spark children’s curiosity. The need to start with what young children know and are interested in will be explored as catalysts for future curiosity.

3. Foundations: Solving Problems
