Sustainability Starts Here!

Rooted in Nature
Growing with Purpose

Welcome to Growing Green Curriculum!  Where early childhood education meets sustainability, wonder, and the power of play. We believe that young children are natural scientists, curious explorers, and capable stewards of our planet. Our curriculum supports early learners in discovering the world through hands-on, eco-friendly experiences that nurture a lifelong love of nature, community, and care for the Earth.

TOGETHER, LET'S PLANT THE SEEDS FOR A BRIGHTER, GREENER FUTURE!

Imagine a world where children grow up with a deep love and respect for the Earth-a world where they understand the importance of caring for nature, conserving resources, and living sustainably.
Our curriculum is designed to nurture young minds, guiding them through hands-on activities, real-world connections, and the wonders of nature.  From exploring trees and animals to learning how to reduce waste, we are fostering a generation of environmental stewards, one step at a time.

What We Offer

Our nature-based, sustainability-focused curriculum is designed for early childhood educators, caregivers, and learning centers who want to:
  • Bring environmental education to life through everyday experiences.
  • Engage children in meaningful investigations about plants, seasons, food, waste, and conservation.
  • Promote empathy, responsibility, and curiosity through real-world learning.
  • Hands-on, nature-based learning: exploring trees, birds, weather, and ecosystems through daily, inquiry-driven play
  • Real-world sustainability practices: composting, recycling, gardening, all woven into the daily routine

Whether you’re setting up a sensory-rich classroom, designing outdoor learning experiences, or integrating sustainable practices into your center, Growing Green Curriculum gives you the tools to do it thoughtfully and playfully.

Why Start Early?

Sustainability isn’t just a classroom topic. It’s a practice, a way of life, and a necessity.

It goes far beyond being a buzzword or passing trend. Teaching sustainability in early childhood is about fostering habits, values, and mindsets that children will carry with them throughout their lives. It’s about raising thoughtful, responsible citizens who understand their connection to the planet and each other and who are empowered to protect what they love.

Sustainability isn’t just a topic! It’s a practice, a way of life, and a necessity. The habits, values, and mindsets children form now will last a lifetime.
We believe early childhood is the perfect time to cultivate a love for the Earth, kindness toward others, and a lifelong curiosity. That’s why we start early, nurturing young minds to grow with empathy, wonder, and a deep respect for the world around them.

Our Heart + Mission

We want children to feel at home in this world, and ultimately know how to defend and care for it.
At the core of Growing Green is a deep belief in stewardship, inclusivity, and the innate wisdom of children. We honor each child’s natural curiosity and support learning that follows their lead, embraces diverse perspectives, and fosters a lifelong connection to the Earth. Through hands-on exploration and thoughtful guidance, we nurture not just knowledge, but compassion, agency, and a sense of belonging in the natural world.

Together, we are Raising the Next Generation of Naturalists, Advocates, Environmentalists + Changemakers
